LOIKKA
LOIKKA tekee työtä tanssielokuvan parissa. Tanssi on ollut osa elokuvallista ilmaisua jo pitkään. Esimerkkejä löytyy niin Hollywoodin kuin Bollywoodinkin klassikoista musiikkivideoihin ja edelleen kokeelliseen elokuvaan. Vaikka liike on elävän kuvan peruselementti, on tanssielokuva itsenäisenä taiteen muotona suhteellisen nuori. LOIKKA pyrkii edistämään tanssielokuvan kehitystä ja tuotantoa, visionaan nostaa Suomi tanssielokuvan kehitysmaasta sen edelläkävijäksi.
LOIKKA pitää sisällään vuotuisen LOIKKA-tanssielokuvafestivaalin, tanssin ja elokuvan ammattilaisille suunnattua LOIKKApro-työpajatoimintaa, tanssielokuvan kuratointia sekä tanssielokuvan kehittelytyötä.

LOIKKA is dedicated to dance film. Dance has been an essential part of moving image from the very beginning of the history of film. It has been presented on the screens in Hollywood and Bollywood as well as in music videos and experimental films. Even though movement has such a close relationship with moving image, the independent dance film is a rather new form of art. With a vision to lift Finland to the leading countries of dance film LOIKKA aims at promoting the development and production of the art form.
To achieve its goal LOIKKA organizes a yearly dance film festival LOIKKA as well as LOIKKApro workshops for dance and film professionals. LOIKKA is also committed to curating dance film.
