INQUIRY INTO TIME AND PERCEPTION, STUDY #1 (2015, CA) by Philip Szporer  / Loikka 2016

Sarjan visuaalisuuteen ja kuvakerrontaan keskittyvät tanssielokuvat ovat kuin liikkuvia tauluja. Teokset esitetään Andorran aulassa festivaalin aikana. 
​Kanadalaisen Philip Szporerin Inquiry Into Time and Perception, Study #1 koostuu kahdesta äänettömästä tanssillisesta muotokuvasta. Vuoropuhe kahden tanssijoiden välillä syntyy hidastetun liikkeen synnyttämistä merkillisistä hetkistä. 

Rutiinit ja arki ovat pääosissa Dance on Canvas II -kokonaisuuden elokuvissa. Rea-Liina Brunou on valmistanut riistakameraa hyväksi käyttäen videopäiväkirjan Dance of the Year jokapäiväisestä tanssistaan. Tara Knight ja Rebecca Salzer kuvaavat koreografian keinoin erään pariskunnan arkisia rutiineja mykkäelokuvassa Right Here.

These dance films, focusing on visuals and imagery, are like paintings come alive. The works will be screened in the Andorra lobby during the festival. 
Inquiry Into Time and Perception, Study #1 by Canadian Philip Szporer comprises two silent danced portraits. The slow-motion movement creates a dialogue of strange moments between the two dancers.

Routines and everyday life take center stage in the Dance on Canvas II collection. Rea-Liina Brunou has used a outdoor hunting camera to create the daily video diary Dance of the Year. Tara Knight and Rebecca Salzer create a choreographic portrayal of a couple's everyday routines in the silent film Right Here.
